Day 0

We arrived today after a simply brutal flight at about 10:30 A.M local time, and immediately went to the hotel where we waited. And Waited. And Waited. At 7 P.M, Roger took us in for orientation, and informed us what we pretty much all already knew: we're startin' early tomorrow. 5:30 in the morning to be exact. It looks like we are going to play around with some storms in the Dakotas, Montana, maybe Canada. At the very least, our drive will be 700 miles. It should be worth it though. Though the cap could be pretty strong, the good surface based storms should start to fire around 5 P.M, and with the amount of shear, instability and moisture should rapidly become surface based and will rotate.

Hopefully tomorrow will be similar to today, (Roger told us today, tomorrow, Monday and maybe Tuesday will set up similarly) as one storm in Canada is cycling and producing massive tornadoes, and perhaps we could get this again tomorrow. With any luck, we will.

I will post pictures when they become available.
